What summer is all about?

Salty hair,tanned skin, toned body, roll out your beach towel and of

course sleeping in on a Sunday morning at least one of these rings a bell

as a summer bliss. This doesn’t mean we spend 3 unproductive months

a year.

Reading books, learning new languages, doing your favorite workout,

hiking with a yoga flow on a mountain top, meditating and nourishing

your mind, traveling solo and discovering your own self, engaging in

family quality time with lots of grandma’s very special mahshi.

Salty hair


One of the girl’s favorite hair styles is just when she comes out of the

beach and her hair is both wet, salty and curly. However, you should not

leave the salt on your hair, as it dries it out. Wash it properly and don’t

forget to deepen your conditioner.


Tanned skin


How many different tanning oils, sun screens did you apply this summer

to tan yet prevent your body from getting burned? It is mostly a riddle to

many of us how to get the attractive bronze color without having to roast

in the sun.


Toned body


We all love ice cream, junk food and sweets wishing to eat them without

losing our shape that we have been working on for quite a long time.

Especially that you can’t resist those mouthwatering un heard of before

recipes that we are bombarded with every summer.


It’s beach time


Let us all mention how grateful we are for living in a country which has

different beaches on two big seas, the Mediterranean Sea with its white

sandy beaches and the red sea with its coral reefs.

Each of these has its own charm and is most enjoyable at a different time

of the year.


It is party time!!!


Partying and dancing during weekends and sleeping in on Sunday is

almost a ritual for most Egyptian youth during summer.


A bookworm..


How many of us bought the whole bookstore, started reading a book and

left it midway as there were 1000s of different other things you had to

do, so you pushed it aside and completely forgot what you actually read.

If this applies to you then get your book out and start reading it.


Fluent in those languages


Ever wanted to be one of those who speak more than one language and

didn’t want to pay money for a course that you won’t definitely fully

focus on as you have loads of other things to do. Now is the time for you

to get your cash out and start paying money.


Working out


Any form of exercise would be fun whatever suits, if you are one of

those people who love to go intense you will find the gym, some might

be interested in kickboxing, cycling or exercising their legs and abs for

example the perfect place would be a fitness studio/center.


Did you know that hiking along with a yoga flow is considered working

out? It is worth every panting in breath and dripping of sweat especially

if you watch the sunset or sunrise, you will be stunned by the beautiful

scenery.

Push all your thinking away


We all need to distress from all the endless and hectic days of working;

this could be done if you start mediating, just by listening to hypnoses,

podcasts or ted talks you will feel totally different afterwards,it is

guaranteed.


It is getaway time


Who loves packing bags whether it is for a short/long period of time!!!

Who does not enjoy putting the bags in the car and leaving everything

behind.

Whether you are one of those who like to travel alone or with people

you will find yourself learning a lot of things whether getting to know

new people along with their cultures and traditions. Don’t forget, every

time you travel somewhere you don’t only learn something new, but you

become a whole new you, so embrace this.


Please eat or Nana will get upset


Those endless gatherings are the main source behind your weight gain.

If you are Egyptian, you most likely love oriental food, especially when

done perfectly by your grandma you won’t be able to get out of the table

without finishing most of the pots. Not to forget are those amazing

konafa and atayef you will feel like you gained toned after eating them.
